WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

Our three-week program offers a unique opportunity for students to develop their writing and publishing talents. Under the guidance of experienced GVWP Teacher Consultants, participants gain new confidence and skills in an atmosphere that is optimal for productivity and learning. Every day, adolescent authors learn new skills, collaborate with peers, and utilize computers. They explore tools and techniques appropriate to their grade level as they polish, present, and publish their work.

With their counselors' approval, Ripon High students who complete the three-week course have an opportunity to improve a course  grade for a previously taken English course (English I / English II only).

IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR RIPON HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS:
You must ask your RHS counselor for permission to earn English credit before you enroll in this three-week course. Make sure that the counselor has added your name to the approved enrollment list before you register online!

Publishing Projects Include:
· Multimedia Writing Projects
· Internet Publishing on Website
· Digital Student Anthology
